Overview
Theotraining was started by Alan Theobald in
1998. Before this, Alan served for almost 30 years as a police officer
retiring in 2004 after 16 yrs as a Detective. As Detective Constable,
Alan received several commendations including for researching and
setting up successful Specialist Units for theft and burglary. Alan
also has experience in being a Drugs and Serious Crime Squad
trainer for the Police and as a college lecturer for Law and
Conflict Management.
Typically Alan is training Detectives in the intricacies of the
Police and Criminal Evidence Act as well as interview procedures. Work
is not limited to the police force however, as Alan has been a
consultant for public sector departments and private firms.
Services are not limited to the UK either, Alan has recently
returned from the Caribbean where he was a police adviser on
interviews of suspects and witnesses.
